Friday Night is for Rockers
If you are a classic rock fan, you won’t want to miss this week’s (July 10) Friday Night Concert in the Park. Making its first appearance at Downtown Pleasanton’s Concert in the Park is Rock Explosion. This band knows how to rock like it’s the 70s, playing music from such perennial favorites as AC/DC, Van Halen, Journey, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. The band members have each shared a stage with marquee names like Deep Purple, Toto, Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart. Rock Explosion’s music is suitable for all ages. So get your beach chairs and blankets out to Wayside Park early to save your spot. The concert is from 7-8:30 p.m. at Lions Wayside Park (corner of First and Neal streets).
