Livermore Wine Country’s Purple Orchid Inn Gets a Reality TV-Style Makeover

April 15, 2012 by · 1 Comment

Livermore Wine Country’s Purple Orchid Inn, located on Cross Road, recently got a week-long makeover as part of a new Travel Channel series called “Hotel Impossible.” The inn’s new owners, Derek and Rhiannon Eddy, applied to the show and were chosen for the makeover. The show focused its work on remodeling the spa, and the new owners are delighted with the results. If it has been awhile since you visited the Inn, it sounds like it’s worth stopping by. The new show begins April 9 with a remodel of Gurney’s Inn in New York.   A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Livermore Chamber of Commerce is planned on April 26 at 4:30 p.m. For more information about the Purple Orchid Inn, go to http://www.purpleorchid.com/
